BJ Denis is on a Mission to Save Gullah Culture
One of the true highlights of our Flavor Forays to Charleston is the lunch that Gullah chef BJ Dennis cooks for our group on a shrimp dock on Shem Creek. Not only is the food delicious, his stories about Gullah culture are enlightening. Chef BJ is on a mission to preserve Gullah cuisine and culture.
