Sometimes you don't need to travel to write a travel story. I realized I was living a travel story right outside my front door. I live near Federal Hall and the statue of George Washington taking the oath as first president. There are other historical sites on my street as well. Read more here.

George Washington lives on my street. Yes, he died in 1799. But his spirit lives on in his bronze statue standing proud on the steps of Federal Hall where he took the oath of office as the first president of the United States.
