NOLA'S BACKYARD SPONSOR INVITATION
In the fall of 2015, we sent the following invitation to prospective sponsors of our NOLA's Backyard trip
The following is the invitation that was sent to the restaurant and hotel operators. We have had an exuberant response and will likely host several more of these in new and exciting locations, to be determined. The premise of this gathering is to create new relationships and enhance existing ones with the kingpins of the restaurant and hotel world while jointly experiencing the unique culture and flavors of Louisiana's Bayou.
We are limited by the size of the Plantation where we are staying, so the total number of participants including sponsors will be capped at 28. We have modeled this Immersion after the very successful Pre-summit that we hosted for the last 7 years prior to the Flavor Summit held at the CIA. We have joined forces with Chef John Folse...(it is not just a term, he really is a force to be reckoned with!) as well as a food historian, and also a renowned authority on Cajun and Creole cuisine and culture. There will be ample opportunities to incorporate sponsor products in various meal occasions, but that is not the main benefit.tobe derived, ...we have corralled the best and the biggest names in the foodservice world, and assembled a knockout itinerary, that can't help but build everyones businesses.
Attendees thus far are: Michael Slavin VP Applebees, Doug Zeif VP Next Hospitality, Jean Marie Clement VP Disney, Giorgi Di Lemis VP White Lodging, Achim Lenders VP Starwood, Peter Farrand VP Shulas Steak houses, James Messinger VP Seasons 52, Stephen Bulgarelli VP Brinker, Paul Pszyblyski VP CPK, Len Elias VP Dolce, Susan Terry VP Hyatt, Michael Frietsch VP Landrys and possibly two more.
